Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest

The Rumbaugh Oration contest is open to any student in grades 9-12 in any public, parochial, private or home schools within DC. The student must present an original oration of not less than five minutes or more than six minutes. The subject shall deal with an event, personality, or document pertaining to the Revolutionary War and show a relationship to America today.

The DCSSAR finals are held in May each year with National finals later in the summer.
