Operation Ancestor Search
During the last year, DCSAR compatriots volunteered in the computer lab at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in DC with the SAR sponsored Operation Ancestry Search. This is a free genealogy training program for Wounded Warriors and other military veterans. The goal is to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to allow them to conduct their own genealogy research. Participants are provided free access to the databases of Ancestry.com.
